April 20: Cutting and Scooting

Will got his second real haircut this weekend, and it was the first successful one. We took Will to one of those bribe-them-with-anything places where kids can watch videos, play with toys, sit in a plane, etc. and it was worth every penny. Will didn't fight or fuss at all, which was all he did the first time.

Patrick bought a fun scooter yesterday to take some of the stress off of relying on the Metro and the bus to get him home in time for Patti to go to work. He can also ride it back from school in half the time it would take him on the Metro.

Pride aside, Patrick likes the color and the teeny tiny engine. More importantly, Will LOVES the scooter. He literally ran from the house tonight when Patrick came home and he can't stop touching it.

Will sat with Daddy and the first thing he did was grab the handlebars like a pro. He must have biker genes. No rides for Will, though, until he can literally ask for one (which will be years at the pace he is speaking).
