Saturday was the opening day of the Cherry Blossom Festival which meant it was the Kite Festival. Everyone is encouraged to fly a kite on the National Mall and next year Will will be able to join the fun. He loved watching the people, pets and kites - especially ones that looked like airplanes.
Will also got his share of cherry blossoms. We'll try and get back to the tidal basin again this season, but if we don't, Will seemed to enjoy what he saw this year. He was a happy little boy.
