August 23: The Beach

We spent our Anniversary (#9!) in Fenwick Island, Delaware. It was our first vacation as a family, and Will's first trip to the beach. The tide was too strong for him to go in the water, but we got his feet wet and he managed to get one facefull of surf. That didn't faze him, but the inevitable first sandy hand in the mouth did get his attention.

Will watched the rolling waves, the walking seagulls, passersby, and the planes flying by with banners for local attractions. It wasn't until the second morning, though, that he ventured out into the sand.

We'll try and post video of Will attacking his beach ball later this week. We're not sure what he thinks he's doing to it, but it's really funny. Until then, enjoy Will on the beach.
